The Evolis Zenius Expert single-sided ID card printer is a compact, lightweight printer that is designed for low-volume and on-demand printing – plus it offers built-in USB and Ethernet connectivity and encoding options. Simple to install, operate, and maintain, you’ll be printing your own custom ID cards in just minutes!
- Batch and single card printing modes
The Evolis Zenius Expert plastic card printer offers a 50-card capacity input hopper for worry-free, continuous batch card printing. You also have the flexibility to produce an ID card on-the-fly with the handy single card feeder located on the front side of your printer.
- Intuitive user interface
The Evolis Zenius Expert plastic card printer is as easy to install and operate as a traditional office printer with the new Evolis Premium Suite®. Evolis Premium Suite swiftly guides you through your print jobs and notifies you when the printer has an empty feeder, needs cleaning, or is approaching the end of the ribbon.
Premium Suite includes the printer driver which communicates between your printer and PC; Print Center is used for easy monitoring of printers and print jobs; Printer Manager provides user-friendly pop-up notifications right on your PC. The Zenius also features an LED control panel on the front of the printer to indicate general printer status.
- Easy-to-replace supplies
To ensure quality prints, the Evolis Zenius Expert printer uses the new Evolis High Trust® line of consumables which are designed to deliver high-quality graphic performance. The printer features a front-loading card feeder and output tray with top-loading printer ribbon, so replacing the ribbon cassette is an easy one-step process. Plus an integrated chip allows the Evolis Zenius Expert to identify the ribbon type and configure your printer settings automatically!
- Contemporary, compact and quiet design
The Evolis Zenius features a contemporary design that is available in two color options: fire red (PR-EV-ZN1H0000RS) or grey/brown (PR-EV-ZN1H0000TS). It’s also a very quiet and compact printer; the Zenius printer can easily accommodate any workstation, be it a welcome desk, a sales counter, or an office setting.
- Built-in USB and Ethernet connectivity
The Zenius Expert offers a choice of connecting to a single PC via the USB connection or to a shared network via the built-in Ethernet connection.
- ‘Optional’ encoding
The Evolis Zenius Expert printer is flexible in the way that it provides options for creating feature-rich cards with the use of magnetic stripe or smart card technologies the encoding options are only offered in the Fire Red printer.
- ‘Optional’ manufacture extended warranty
The extended warranty plans for the Evolis Zenius are direct from the manufacture and will extend the warranty an extra 1 or 2 years.
