EDIsecure DIC 10589 Hologram Patch Laminate is a transparent ribbon that uses a hologram patch to add more security to cards. The ribbon uses a special technique called HRI (High Refractive Index) that only allows the holographic patch to be seen when a card is held at a certain angle. The holographic patch adds a level of security to a card and keeps it from being fraudulently duplicated. The holographic overlay also protects the card from wear and tear, UV light exposure and other environmental factors.
A printer must have lamination capability in order to apply a laminate.
