EDIsecure DIC 10590 Clear Patch w/ Chip Cutout Laminate is an overlamination that is used to add durability to cards with smart chips. There is a cut out for smart chips that allows a laminate to be applied to a card without covering the smart chip. The laminate protects the card from wear and tear, UV light exposure and other environmental factors.
A printer must have lamination capability in order to apply a laminate.
