The Evolis Cleaning Kit will gently, but thoroughly remove debris from the printhead. Adhesive cards will travel through the printer’s card path. They use adhesion to collect and remove debris build-up on the cleaning rollers. The cleaning rollers need to be clean in order to be able to remove dirt and dust from a blank card prior to printing. Swabs are used for cleaning the printhead. Regular printer cleanings will ensure full printer functionality. Cleaning all parts of the printer will protect the print quality and extend the printer’s lifespan.
