Regular printer cleanings with the Evolis Advanced Printer Cleaning Kit will ensure full printer functionality. Cleaning all parts of the printer will protect the print quality and extend the printer’s lifespan.

T-cards are shaped like a “T” and they are inserted into the printer’s card path. The “T” shape allows the card to fit nicely inside the printer. It cleans the cleaning rollers inside the printer to ensure they are debris-free and able to clean a blank card prior to printing. It is important to use a cleaning card for every ribbon change to ensure optimum printer functionality.

Adhesive cards will travel through the printer’s card path. They use adhesion to collect and remove debris build-up on the cleaning rollers. The cleaning rollers need to be clean in order to be able to remove dirt and dust from a blank card prior to printing.

A cleaning pen will gently, but thoroughly clean the printhead to ensure debris does not build up on the printhead and damage it.

Lint-free wipes are used to remove dirt and dust from the cleaning rollers inside the printer. These wipes are lint-free to keep residue from being left behind after cleaning.
