Cleaning cards are used for removing dirt and dust from the cleaning rollers. A cleaning card is inserted into the printer’s card path and travels along the cleaning rollers to ensure they are clean for removing debris from a blank card prior to printing. A cleaning pen will gently, but thoroughly clean the printhead to ensure debris does not build up on the printhead and damage it. Regular printer cleanings will ensure full printer functionality. Cleaning all parts of the printer will protect the print quality and extend the printer’s lifespan.
