Fargo DTC1500 Dual-Side with Single Side Lamination Details
Matching the speed and volume printing capacity of Fargo’s professional class models, Fargo’s professional select DTC1500 offers reliable and versatile card printing at a significantly lower price point! The DTC1500 direct-to-card printer makes it incredibly easy for organizations with high-volume printing requirements and advanced security needs to manage a card issuance program in house. It offers several built-in security features, comes standard with both USB and Ethernet connectivity, is configurable for encoding, and designed to support a variety of user-friendly field upgrades.
- Innovative professional-grade card printing
A true mid-range printer, the DTC1500 unites the best of value class and professional class printer features. It’s compact in size and competitively priced, yet fully equipped to excel in professional-grade card printing applications. The DTC1500 RI-FG-51410 features built-in Ethernet, 100-card capacity input & output hoppers, and print speeds as fast as 6 seconds per card (for monochrome) and 24 seconds (for YMCKOK). Plus, it includes Fargo’s new resin threshold feature to allow for “True-K” printing (more crisp, true black text and barcodes).
- Data security with resin scramble
The DTC1500 RI-FG-51410 dual-sided printer features AES 256 data encryption for data security, as well as printer password protection for secure operation. It also offers Fargo’s new resin scramble feature, giving you the power to essentially erase resin printed data that could otherwise be extracted from the K panel of your used YMCKO, YMCKOK, YMCKK, or YMCKOKO ribbons.
- Includes Fargo’s new secure watermarking technology
With the DTC1500, there’s no need to invest in foil cards or holographic overlaminate to achieve a secure watermark on your credentials. This is Fargo’s first model to offer this built-in visual security feature, the DTC1500 card printer allows you to add a holographic-like image, text field, or logo to your cards during the standard printing process and at no additional cost.
Simply select the watermark feature in the ‘Overlay’ tab of your printer driver and use a bitmap image to designate areas where the “O” panel of the YMCKO ribbon should be left open to accommodate your watermark.
- Energy-efficient operation, low-cost consumables
GreenCircle® certified for its energy efficiency, the Fargo DTC1500 printer accepts Fargo’s eco-friendly (ECO) refill ribbons and boasts a low cost-per-card compared to other mid-range printers in its class. Enjoy low-cost, high-capacity full- and half-panel ribbons for a lower total cost of ownership.
- User-installable field upgrades to support your growing business
Engineered to satisfy virtually any application, the DTC1500 is highly customizable – at the time of factory configuration and after. Unlike the Fargo DTC1250e and Fargo DTC4250e, the DTC1500 is field upgradeable and has a modular designed to accommodate a wide range of card printing requirements. Great for growing businesses, the DTC1500 allows you to add encoding, lamination, and/or wi-fi connectivity to your printer at any time – and without sending your printer to back the manufacturer for the alteration.
- Three-year warranty on printer and printhead
On top of all its new and exciting features, the Fargo DTC1500 PR-FG-51410 card printer is backed by an industry-leading, 3-year manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty covers both printer and printhead (with unlimited passes if used with HID Fargo UltraCard card stock).
